When the layer of fivers have the desired thickness, the excess water and paper solution are draine doff from the mat (Su). After the water has been drained off, the washi sheets are moved to paper beds (Shito). The sheets are piled one by one onto paper beds. Pressing out water (Assaku). When the water has been pressed out, the sheets are separate done by one. Next Stripping. (Shito Hagashi).


The paper is not easy peeling from the mat especially when the paper fivers are very fine, you pour those dilute the glue with water to the mat. Curiously, the paper is peeling smoothly from the mat.
And above all, the papers which were overlaid on the paper floor do not stick to each other.


You can use a silk gauze (SHA) to cover the mat (Su) and also to put between papers on Shito, which results in a very smooth refined paper and easy stripping (Shito Hagashi).
